In order to register the death of a Swiss citizen or of the spouse of a Swiss citizen the following document is required: 

• certified copy of an entry of death (original document); photocopies cannot be accepted 

This document must be legalized by the Tanzanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Please note that the death certificate will be sent to Switzerland and can therefore not be returned to you.
