The rise of the Yangtse Delta Region in recent years is impressive. Consequently, the relations with Switzerland have developed and intensified on an unprecedented scale. It is a pleasure for me to serve in this most dynamic and vibrant context and to contribute towards furthering the understanding between Switzerland and this important region of China.

The main tasks of the Consulate General are to represent the interests of Switzerland and to serve the Swiss community in the provinces of Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and the Municipality of Shanghai. We seek to strengthen and widen Swiss-Chinese relations by supporting business, cultural, educational and social exchanges. It is our goal to further enhance the already excellent bilateral ties.
