Visa for Switzerland
- Visa applications should be filed no more than three months and no less than 15 days before the date of departure.
- Personal appearance by the applicant is required.
- Each application is checked individually and no guarantee is given that a visa will be issued. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for any costs when a visa is refused.
- In case the visa application has to be sent to Switzerland for approval, postage fee will be charged additionally.
- Please note that working is strictly prohibited while visiting Switzerland unless the corresponding (work) visa has been issued.
- Foreigners residing in Uzbekistan or Kirghizstan have to prove that they have a residence permit for the country they are living in. The validity of the permit should exceed the duration of stay.
- Visa applications can be submitted to the Embassy from Monday to Thursday, from 09:00 till 12:00.
- Visa related questions and enquiries will be answered from Monday to Thursday, from 14:00 till 17:00 only, and Friday from 09:00 till 12:00.
Visa processing Fee
The processing fee has to be paid cash in US dollars at the time the application is submitted (only unmarked bank notes issued after 1996 will be accepted)
Adults: USD 82.00 (equal to EUR 60.00)
Minors between 6 and 12: USD 48.00 (equal to EUR 35.00)
Children between 0 and 5: Free of charge
