This homepage will provide you with access to the Regional Consular Center Vienna. From 3 October, 2011 this center, which is attached to the Embassy, will also be responsible for all consular business in Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, in addition to that for Austria itself.

The Regional Consular Center Vienna will subsequently represent the interests of Swiss-abroad residents in the new consular area, or those who take up temporary residence within it. It is responsible for all consular matters such as registration, issuing passports and identity cards, and for matters regarding civil status such as marriages, births, AHV/IV and the exercise of voting rights at federal level. 

More than 20,000 Swiss abroad live in these six countries. The Regional Consular Center Vienna will offer you a reliable and competent point of contact that provides the services you require promptly and efficiently. On our homepage, you will find all the information you need on consular matters including instructions and explanations on how to proceed in any particular matter to get the assistance or solution you need from the Regional Consular Center.
