Visa applications: Please note that visa applications must be submitted personally, Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 12:00.
Passports with a decision of the Embassy (declaration of sponsorship, invitation to present complementary documents or refusal) are handed out the same day between 15:00 and 16:00.
Passports with a visa will also be handed out the same day between 15:00 and 16:00.
The visa section is closed on Fridays and does NOT accept visa applications on this day.
Please note that as of December 15, 2010, Bosnian citizens who hold a biometric passport do no longer need a visa to enter Switzerland for a maximum stay of 90 days within 6 months (visit, tourism or business). If the purpose of the stay in Switzerland is work, a visa is still required, even if the activity is less than 8 days in a year. It is recommended to contract a travel and health insurance policy for the whole duration of your stay in Switzerland.
The Embassy wishes you a pleasant stay in Switzerland or in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
