Allow me to extend a warm welcome to the home page of the Regional consular center Benelux. This center, which is affiliated to the Embassy of Switzerland in The Hague, takes over all consular affairs in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Kingdom of Belgium as of 15 May 2011.

The Regional consular center Benelux looks after the interests of Swiss abroad who either are domiciled in one the three above mentioned countries or are just visiting. The Centre is responsible for all consular affairs such as matriculation, issuing passports and identity cards, civil status (marriages, births, etc.), social security questions (pensions) and the exercise of voting rights in federal elections.

There are currently some 15,000 Swiss abroad living in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium. They can count on the Regional consular center Benelux as a reliable and competent partner able to provide the services they require in an efficient manner. Visitors to the home page will find all the information they need on consular matters as well as concrete instructions on how to proceed on specific questions. The Regional consular center is able to provide all the assistance and solutions you may need.
