Visa applications will be processed by appointment only.
The appointment can be made at the earliest 3 months and at the latest 15 days before the scheduled journey.

The Call-Center schedules the next available appointment and informs in detail about required documents and visa application procedure.

• payment of the service charge of TRY 23.- at any “IS Bankasi” or “Yapi Kredi” branch
• specify that the payment is destined for the information service of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Istanbul
• on the next working day, contact the Call-Center by telephone indicating the pin code given by the bank
• the pin code is valid for one phone call and one appointment
• instead of a bank payment you can call the Call-Center and pay directly with credit card

Scheduling an appointment for filing a visa application is only possible by attending in person at our counters or by sending a fax:

Attending in person : Monday, Tuesday: 15:00 - 16:00 (please bring your passport)
By fax : +90 212 283 12 97 (indicate: first-, last name, passport no., telephone no.)
By phone / E-mail : It is not possible to schedule an appointment by phone or e-mail!

After application, allow a minimum of two working days for processing.

The passport can be collected on the following days:

Monday - Thursday: 15:00 - 15:30
Friday: 12:00 - 12:30

Holders of Turkish diplomatic or special passports can travel visa free for stays up to a maximum of 90 days within 6 months if the journey is not subject to authorisation.
