Swiss Old Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI/DI - AHV/IV - AVS/AI)
Swiss diplomatic and consular representations abroad may help administer the insurance scheme and carry out various tasks, such as providing general information to members. However, only the central administration in Switzerland is authorized to give binding information on the voluntary insurance and benefits.
The Swiss Compensation Office and the DI Office for insured persons residing outside Switzerland, which are part of the Central Compensation Office, are the responsible authorities for administering the voluntary OASI/DI scheme.
