For several years already, Switzerland and Australia have had a reciprocal agreement to enable young people under 30 years of age to improve their occupational and linguistic skills in Switzerland for a maximum duration of 18 months.

In order to qualify for the Youth Mobility Program, applicants must have concluded vocational training of at least 2 years or be in possession of a degree related to their prospective employment in Switzerland. It is advised for the applicants to find their own employer in Switzerland prior to commencing an application.
