Welcome to the Embassy of Switzerland in Canberra. The Embassy is in charge of Switzerland's relations with Australia, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. We fulfill our task in collaboration with the Swiss Consulate General in Sydney.

The objective of the Embassy is to facilitate and strengthen relations between Switzerland and Australia, Kiribati, Nauru. Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, where we represent the Swiss government. We inform Swiss authorities about important developments taking place in these six countries. In collaboration with the Consulate General, we support the Swiss expatriate community, Swiss business, science, education, culture as well as other interest groups. We promote Switzerland in its cultural diversity and – last but not least – issue visas for travellers to Switzerland.
