Bilateral Relations between Switzerland and the Cook Islands
Relations between Switzerland and the Pacific island state of the Cook Islands are low intensity. No economic exchanges take place with this sparsely populated country. Nevertheless, in conformity with the principle of the universality of its foreign policy, Switzerland has entered into diplomatic relations with the Cook Islands. Relations are maintained through the Swiss Embassy in New Zealand and are currently limited to sporadic contacts at the international level.
